Door Peninsula Winery and Door County Distillery are looking for both full and part time workers for the summer season and beyond.

No prior wine or spirits knowledge needed, as long as you have a good attitude and are willing to learn, we will teach you on site!
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour plus tips

PRODUCTION-BOTTLING LINE/WAREHOUSE
Door Peninsula Winery is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic individual to help with our production. The job entails working on the bottling line either taking bottles off and putting into wine boxes or putting empty bottles on to the line. Additionally, assist with stocking wines from the warehouse. We bottle wine or spirits nearly every day at Door Peninsula Winery.
*Willing to drive a forklift
*Must be able to lift/carry a case of wine (approx 35#)

RETAIL POSITION-PART TIME
The Barrel Room in Fish Creek is currently looking for summer retail cashiers. We will have hours available June through October, and we can be very flexible with shifts. The Barrel Room is an olive oil and wine tasting shop located in the heart of Fish Creek. Strong customer service skills are vital. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

RESTAURANT-HEAD CHEF
Shipwrecked Brew Pub in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin is searching for an energetic Kitchen Manager / Head Chef with the leadership expertise and communication skills to make a day at work both productive and enjoyable! You will have direct involvement in menu creation and input in restaurant operations. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a capable Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join our team that’s interested in developing and growing with us.
This is a working manager position. Do not expect to spend much time in the office or with a clipboard. You will be on the line supervising your peers and leading by example.
Job summary:
Hands-on supervision of line cooks, prep cooks, and dish-washing staff
Hiring & training of new staff and ongoing coaching.
Ordering and maintaining inventory of food, equipment & supplies.
Staff scheduling for all back of house employees.
Provide the highest quality food for our guests in the quickest manner.
Keep work environment clean, safe, and organized at all times. Servsafe is a plus.
Work days, nights, and be willing to close.
Consistent production of food items and ordering of inventory.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience cooking in a high-volume restaurant. American sports bar theme cuisine a plus.
Must be comfortable on saute, grill, and fryer stations.
Must be able to work in a team-driven fast-paced kitchen.
Strong communication skills.
Must have the ability to think outside the box to adapt to out-of-the-ordinary guest requests/substitutions.
Must be a problem solver.
Experience with P&L financial statements is a plus, but not required.

Our facility was destroyed by a fire in late 2017 and we now have a brand new kitchen complete with air conditioning! Experience is desirable, but we will train new staff who exhibit a great attitude and a willingness to learn. We are serious about acquiring top-notch staff and pay very competitively.
